The successful applicant will handle their own caseload of Motor PI files, to include all aspects of the third party claim up to a value of £100,000, from notification to settlement. Will deal with new claims, post & diary within agreed service standards and maintain correct prioritisation of work flow, adopt DPA & FSA procedures to ensure compliance and adopt Best Practice procedures in order to deal with claims proactively and cost effectively. In addition will comply with Company Fraud procedures to avoid leakage and handle all complaints within FSA Guidelines and accurately record them. Will comply with the Company's Litigation Avoidance process in order to minimise costs and comply with Company procedures on handling Motor PI claims. Will also provide coaching to less experienced team members when necessary.
Skills (Years Experience) :
Potential applicants will be able to handle all types of personal injury claims including fractures, loss of earnings, be able to recognise RTA/Article 75 liability and have an understanding of DPA & FSA procedures. Will also be a team player that shares skills and knowledge, is always willing to assist others and displays a positive attitude. Will possess a full understanding of CPR Guidelines and have good organisation, prioritisation and communication skills. Progress towards ACII is preferred but not essential.
