A new vacancy has arisen for a Personal Injury Claims Consultant to join one of the largest general insurers in the UK based in the Bristol office. You will proactively manage a caseload of personal injury claims achieving the most cost effective settlement for the company. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of cases, checking indemnity, investigating liability, reviewing medical reports and establishing quantum. You will prioritise your workload to deliver an efficient service to policyholders, brokers, injured parties and their representatives. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.
Skills (Years Experience) :
Applicants applying for this vacancy must have previous experience in personal injury claims handling practices. You must have the ability to prioritise in a demanding and busy environment, together with being a strong and confident negotiator. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a keen eye for detail and be numerate and IT literature. You will have excellent inter-personal skills and have the ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
