Job Description:
THE COMPANY Our client specialise in the manufacture and distribution of decorative lighting. They sell products to worldwide customers in more than 60 countries. They have their own sales distribution operations in 3 countries, managing more than 17,000 square metres, (185,000 square feet) of warehousing and production space and a team of more than 100 committed staff. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage the internal stock movement processes including: Stock Transfers, Stock Adjustments and the investigation of Stock Differences. * Carry out a structured perpetual inventory programme across all stock items and all locations to ensure stock integrity is maintained at all times. This includes raw, finished and raw materials. * Deliver accurate and updated stock information ensuring book stock matches physical stock in both quantities and location. Accuracy and proof of due diligence is vital to ensuring the annual stock count is no longer required. * Maintain an accurate database of stock discrepancies and their resolution. * Report any stock discrepancies via agreed channels, ensuring stock adjustments are agreed and authorised by a senior member of staff. * Have a thorough understanding of the goods receipt process and provide cover in cases of absenteeism. * Assist in stock replenishment generation and reporting * Assist in unloading of containers as required. * Maintain professional standards and be willing and able to assist in any reasonable request the company may have of you * Assist in the continued delivery and audit of ISO9000 * A good level of Microsoft Office is essential.
