A new vacancy has arisen for a Commercial Property Claims Handler to join a major international composite insurance company in the Birmingham office. You will deal with the negotiation, presentation and settlement, either personally or by referral, of commercial property, motor and PL damage claims from initial advice to settlement, taking full particulars from broker and arranging completion of all documentation as necessary and, if appropriate, giving guidance relative to policy cover/limits, etc. You will liaise with all interested parties, underwriters, claims inspectors, solicitors and loss adjusters. You will attend meetings to give advice on new/outstanding claims. You will also advise on future claims procedures and provide statistical claims information.
Skills (Years Experience) :
Applicants applying for this vacancy must possess relevant commercial claims handling experience. You must possess a sound working knowledge of Excel and be confident and outgoing with a professional approach to work. ACII progress preferred.
